Little more noise: How to?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a 2003 Octavia vRS estate and I want a little more noise from the engine.

I've had a K&N cone filter om my previous car but that would be to much (start getting old I think)

Anyone an idea? I love the pressure valve blowing off and with a bit more induction roar, I think the car will sound fantastic, but how?

Greetings,

Cheap ebay induction pipe with a decent filter works for me plus a compbrake recirclating valve

You need a forge 007p dv and an induction kit of somesort

I tried a piperx panel filter with the forge 007p and wasnt impressed, sounded completely stock

You can get it in bare aluminium too

You need to relocate the horns for that kit in the bumper,

Id recommend a good filter to use with that kit, a k+n cone can be bought for £30-£40

Have a look at modshack vtda as well

I have a carbonio induction kit and forge dv on mine, sounds awesome

Well bought an air intake and fitted it.

Sound awesome, not too loud and you can hear the turbo and diverter valve a lot more.

Throttle response improved (or thats just in my head because of the noise)

And all this for 156 euro -> 124GBP
