I am after some garage recommendations for a new Octavia vRS diesel with DSG. can anyone recommend a good, reliable dealer who will beat others on price?

Can recommend Sinclair Skoda in Swansea

Would avoid Griffin Mill in Pontypridd

Would avoid White Dove in Cardiff

Don't know about the dealer in Newport, though I know my Dad did take his car to be serviced there years back and was happy enough.

That covers the main dealers in South Wales at least

I've used Sinclair a few times lately for servicing for my car and my fathers and the customer service was excellent.

I ordered a brand new car from there before too - Sales guy was good but he'd moved on... I know the other guys are good there too though.

Would be a trek if you're up north, but hey, don't ask - don't get.

Especially if you don't have a trade-in then try one of the internet dealers such as drive the deal. If not then try the dealers who are site sponsors.

Again I recommend Capitol skoda in Newport. Brought 2 new cars off them in 12 months

Rainworth Skoda in Mansfield used to / still do supply 'drivethedeal' who are almost always cheaper than Skoda main dealers.

Quite well known for being one of the biggest Skoda discounters...
