Anyone used VAGTECH?

Featured Replies

Looking at doing a stage one on my octy vrs tfsi and have recently got a quote from VAGtech

Was wondering if anyone has used them and also if this sounds like a competitive quote?

Stage 1

Recommended stage 1 tune to 260 bhp - 386 Nm of torque

Revo Stage 1 remap £598.80

Forge DV £189.79

Performance panel filter £48

Fitting for the Forge DV is £66

Total stage 1 upgrade with Revo software £902.59

Cheers briskodians :)

240 is more realistic and no need for any of the forge bits just get the rev D diverter valve

I was going to say the 260bhp is extremely optimistic - many remap places will tell you a rather inflated "estimated" remap.

In a lot of cases they will then use the word "estimated".

Go in expecting 240 - 245 and that would be more realistic.

I thought the same about getting 260 after lookin at other remaps

Cheers though :-)

I would personally use VagCheck in Staines......Sorry I meant Staines-Upon-Thames! They specialise in all VAG cars expecially TT's but the attention to detail when it comes to remaps is second to none.
