Are pipercross really that noisy?

Featured Replies

I am looking on putting an induction kit on my car but have heard that pipercross are really loud? Don't really want anything that's going to attract attention from the boys in blue if I'm honest..

To attract attention from the fuzz with an induction kit would probably mean driving like a tit - don't drive like a tit :hi:

I've got a pipercross induction kit - it does sound a little more throaty but is not excessively noisy. Never had a problem with the police. (at least not from this).

But take into account I'm 19 and seem I get targeted a lot. Even though I drive like an old man. They stereotype too much.

i have a powerflow on my clio came with the car,it's noisier than a pipercross induction from what i could remember from the one i had on a 2 ltr hyundai coupe

but only ever enjoyed a nice growl from it nothing loud

i had a carbon fibre bmc fitted in last proper car my suzuki swift sport which sounded like a nice cat like growl and improved 2nd 3rd and 5th speed

i'd say go for it cannot go wrong with pipercross they work damn well

If you are only putting an induction kit I wouldbt worry about attracting too much unwanted attention. I've got a k&n induction kit on mine, you will only hear the intake of the air when you shove your pedal down! Driving normally you wouldn't know it was there, but its a nice throaty noise when you want it!
