Porsche Big brake conversion

Featured Replies

Starting to get rid of some of the parts off the nana to bring its overall sale price down. I will need standard 312mm brakes in swap for these! These are mega brakes, anyone who's been out in the car will vouch for this! As part of the deal i'm willing to get them fitted at my local garage (people who fitted them to my car initally) so will be a drive in, drive out swap.

The discs are Bremtechs and the pads are Mintex. No lips of the disks and many thousands of miles use still in them. Braided hoses are goodridge, not 100% sure of the make of the adaptors but have posed no problems on my car. Disks are 325mm but the conversion can also be ran with 323mm LCr disks. Calipers are off a 964 Porsche.

£500 drive in, drive out swap.

Located in Liverpool. Alternatively £475 and I can post the brakes but will require a 312mm set up prior to doing so.

So beautiful.. but unfortunately won't fit under my standard alloys :( will these fit under 18inch BBS LM reps?

Are they hub spacers fitted to the front of the discs,

Do you have to get new discs drilled to 5x100 if you ever have to have them replaced

Mmmmmm if i had lots of wonga :)

yes they are spacers, i would say at least 15mm perhaps maybe 20mm due to the fact they are bolted to the hub, then the wheel bolts to the spacer. A good way of doing it, as it can also address the stud pattern issue of different pcd wheels. I know lee runs porsche alloys, i wonder if these are spacer convertors (i dont know what pcd the porsche wheels are).

am sure he will be along to verify

ps

Lloyd, they have your name on them, come on, mate you wont regret it!:>

Porsche are 5x130 iirc ????

If i had the spare mone mate id be after these :)

I do fancy yummy brakes

Lol im still worrying about the wallet abuse im going to get with my glowshift order :(

Im guessing spiders wont go over these ????

Are the adaptors for your wheels mate or do you need them cos they are porsche brakes ??

adaptors are 5x100>5x130 for the wheels, nothing to do with the brakes :) they'll fit behind spiders with a 20mm spacer. Discs are actually 5x100 with the centre bore machined to fit. In future i was just going to whack some LCR discs on to save faffing about, as said the disks are pretty new anyway so have tons of milage left in them!

I thought it was your pcd adaptors mate :)

So cupra discs bolt on direct do they

Who to mug ? :D
