Guys, may need to put my mk1 on the road as a taxi, problem I have is the original interior was scrapped & I can't use the Vrs interior as it would get to dirty. Don't want seat covers as I hate them.

What I want to know is: was there an option for full leather from better spec'd modals.

Is there any differance from classic seats to Ambiente, elegance & L&K models?

Also would anyone be up for a swap, your non Vrs interior for my Vrs interior.

Look on ebay for a set of golf mk4 cloth recaro's

Should get a set relatively cheap!

what jase said, mk4 seats most common, as a taxi the recaros bolsters will wear faster perhaps, the non recaro late mk seats are almost as supportive, and cheaper than the more desirable recaros. Seen sets go for around £250 in leather.

Seat Toledo leathers are nice.

Audi S3 are nice too.

Don't restrict yourself to Skoda, when Seat Leon/Toledo, Audi A3, Golf MkIV, and Bora seats will fit fine.

On second thoughts, I love my S3 interior, but the middle rear seat belt is only a lap belt, and not much use in a taxi I suspect...

yup s3 is the pick of the bunch imo....

I have an L&K with the black leather option. It's started wearing a bit on the bolsters at 130k, but the side supports haven't collapsed.

I'd go for Golf or Bora seats.

Check scrap yards m8, my local had 3 octys in. Be cheaper to buy from them then sell yours, you'll end up making a nice profit
