Le Mans 2012, anyone else going?

Featured Replies

It's the weekend of 16th and 17th June. I've been every year since 2006 but this will be the first year driving my car. Got my stickers last week, now just need to get a service done then she's ready to go. :)

Was hoping to get a freebie with my company who is doing a lot of the logistics, ie helicoptered in, VIP treatment, for it but looking like a no unfortunately.

Will watch a lot of it on the telly and it is going to be a very interesting year.

No peugeot, wow, the Japanese are coming with the Nissan and Toyota entries.

Very different setup this year with smaller engines, hybrid stuff, way forward for the future far more than F1 clearly for what features we will be driving in the next few years.

I hope to go, with my son, it's just the boss who doesn't want us to go because our son is at work on the Monday morning.

Not this year, alot of going on... but thinking about going next year. . . .

Went to the Le Mans 24hrs from 1984 to 1996 but the bike version. Never been to the car one but i'm a regular at the nurburgring 24hrs.

I am going for the first time this year super excited. Won a comp and got vip tickets and hospitality jazz!

I'm going to the Le Mans Classic in July. Never been before and we are driving.

What stickers you talking about out of interest?

I'll be there for my third consecutive year camping on Bleu Nord. Fantastic entertainment each year so far. Can't wait for Tuesday night to come. However, three of us in the little Monte is going to be fun.

What stickers you got and where you camping? i'll look out for you.

The mad fridays were even better when I first started going. :D

We're on a private camp site just south of the blue camping/parking, but you might spot me at Super U Arnarge in the mornings or at the Pistonheads event on Friday. I've got a silver 02 plate Octy VRS with "Le Taxi du Mans" stickers on the rear doors and rear bumper, you shouldn't be able to miss it! I've also got a large circuit sticker on the bonnet, one on each front door and a small one on the boot. It's my mate's first time there so I will probably take him for a walk around the blue camp site.
