I've noticed the last week or so that the very slight lumpy idle i had and i mean very slight has now got steadily worse, i cant really see the rev counter move much.

Could this be the PCV?

Car runs perfect and power is still bang on and puts a smile on your face.

Is yours petrol or diesel?

If its a diesel has it been in for the injector recall? A few have complained of a lumpy idle directly after the injector change...

Could well be, seems to be a common failure and cause of lumpy idle, my car's suffering from it also at the moment, but it does also feel like my power's down a bit.

It's a cheap part (£35 ish iirc) and easy to replace (once you've managed to get your engine cover off!), there's a good guide here: http://vagdrivers.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=40537

Was going to change mine shortly but it's in for a service next month, including an air filter change, so I might just get them to swap it out while they've got the cover off, save me a job.
