I'm sure Graham would say that's the way they are supposed to look! :)

Clean the windows and lights.

Leave the rest.

Last post before we leave, and YES!!

Out of curiousity, what is the story behind it?

Wonder if it was just smothered with mud or some lucky bloke/lady had the joy of getting it that way?

Yeah it looks a bit smothered to me, like it's been stood in a puddle with someone splashing the mud over it! May be wrong of course :wait:

Article has no comment other than Wörthersee 2012 which appears to be some form of motoring show from googling it.

Definately some puddle jumping went on, the muds not sprayed round the arches.

I think it is just a regular motorshow, possibly some sort of launch from seeing the Citigo in the background, and they've decided to have a caked up SM rather than a gleaming showroom example.

There's something more going on here.

The car appears to be supported on a vehicle lift or similar as all 4 wheels are off the deck. The support structure is similarly covered in mud. The (clean) front numberplate says Skoda Genuine Accessories - in English!

The shot of the rear seems to show that it is tethered to a boulder, that in turn is tethered to a steel bar. Maybe the car gets tilted forwards or something. I tried blowing up the photo to read the notice in the foreground, but I can't get it clear unfortunately. Are the rear wheels positioned in/over a steel tank?

It would certainly be interesting to know the story.

Looking at the last photo theres a poster showing spray from the rear wheels :wonder: if, as the fronts are clearly airborne, their tricking the Haldex to power the rears up and demonstrate this by spraying the wall behind :wonder: :wonder:

Oh the rock could be to tether her down in case she gets hacked off being messed about and wants to take off :giggle:

Intriguing! Could you give us a link to the page please, TP? Someone here might have a smattering of the language.

Could it be down to the French Government expelling a lot of foreign workers last year. The team of Polish valeters at my local Homebase would enjoy making a lovelly job of sorting that one out!

Or do they get their water from Anglian Water and be enduring a hosepipe ban like we are at the moment - despite the deluge of the last few weeks. :sun:

Thanks, TP.

I can't see any immediate clues in the second and third links but a bit of juggling with the pics in the first gives the fragments below.

The top line of text in the first pic seems to be German but, with a bit of imagination, the second line is in English - 'Participation on your own risk'.

The second pic may be showing a Yeti throwing up rear wheel spray, with some sort of barrier? And, again with some imagination, the caption 'Let's get dirty!'

OK, now it's someone else's go!

But it's strange that there was apparently no reaction to the French OP, Octav LeLe.

Solved! (Or have I missed a post somewhere?)

Ummmm. did I miss the point? The woman didn't get at all wet or dirty.

I think she did as you can see her reacting when it hits her, although the bloke on her right got it much worse...

...but no, I still don't get the point...?

That's the Germans for you?..

AND she didn't take her T shirt off........

George..............................................!!!

Mind you, if she'd been in Brecon on a Friday night I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem!! :giggle:
