Uprated fab vrs exhaust help

Featured Replies

Hi people, I'm really wanting a milltek exhaust or other but, I would like to know if I brought and fitted a cat-back system would thi then fail emissions etc.

Also what exhaust would be best suited, I can have a custome one made for 300 quid and I can choose exhaust tip :)

Any help would be great, and if anyone selling a aftermarket exhaust even better

If your leaving the cat in how could it fail?. .

Mines a full custom with decat and passed mot with it on. . Because they smoke test diesel not emissions. . So along as its not throwing black smoke everywhere.

Obviously the rules change every year,im not upto date on the current rules so some things MAY have changed since mine.was mot'd

I have a piper, sounds spot on, there is a video about on here of it.

if you lived near me, i could do a dunktek system for you, consists of a stainless pipe!! lol Costs about £15

Sorry I meant with de-cat lol, yeah well do you mean whole exhaust for 15quid lol.... Where are you based

What's is this duntek system? Never heard of this?

Are we talking mufflerectomy? ;)

A de-catted diesel will not fail an mot for not having a Cat. A petrol car without a cat when it is required (post 1992) is now an automatic fail.

As to what exhaust you want, well that's up to you! :)

Indeed we are! Lol only for now though getting a turbo back decat system when I send it off to jabbasport for some exstensive tweaking. Lol
