Skoda 5w40 qauntum yes or no

I just rang skoda and he said is it the 5w 40 quantum is this the stuff im after to do a full oil change ?

If it's certified to 505.01 or 507.00 it'll be suitable, if it doesn't it won't. The viscosity of such approved oils is 5W-30 or 5W-40. Quantum is VW's own oil, I think it's currently the Quantum Platinum that meets 505.01.

Its quantum platinum 5w-40 approved to ve 502 00/ 505 00 / 505 01 so is that ok guys

When servicing my vrs i use q8 5/30 and ive had no problems
