There are a few L&K owners on here who can comment - Danny57 springs to mind.

Not sure of any Irish owners though.

I have the CR170 Combi 4x4. The only car I have bought without a test drive, it was the first one SKODA brought into Ireland.

An L&K car is unlikely to be registered as a demo. Try Skoda Ireland? They may be able to help (Though my enquiries to them were less than helpfully dealt with)

What is it you are looking for in the L&K?

I wanted the extra bits especialy the TV and I have found that the perforated leather seats are very comfortable and I prefer the look of them compared to the plain flat leather.

Danny, I don't know exactly what I'm looking for. I would like to see one to see if they are worth the extra money. Supeeerd what part of Ireland are you in. Do you feel the l&k is worth the extra?

To me it was worth the extra (and the fact that there was zero vat, 0% interest free and I still got extra off from the dealer) but that is always about personal choice.

One of the best bits are the alloy wheels on the L&K they are really nice to look at in real life, much better than the photographs.

Newbie question here. What's the L&K ?

L&K = Laurin and Klement. Top spec special edition with a different colour leather, a special paint colour not available in other specs, and a package of extras including TV which isn't available even as an option on other models (though I'm trying to figure out what it would take to retrofit).

The L&K spec in Ireland is not the same as in the UK..

Things like the TV and vented seats are still options, I think it is more of visual changes (brown leather and 18's) than the tech fest of the UK car.

I know my local dealer has ordered 1 but who knows when that might get in.

Spoke to Deasy's yesterday. Was told 40 170cr's coming into Ireland. They have one ordered for themselves. Trying to sell me one as well

Spoke to Conor in E Tarrants as well and he told me each and every Skoda dealer is expected to get one as a demo.
