What's the age of Superb II drivers?

Featured Replies

Saw this topic on Octavia II part of the forum...

I'm 24 and drive a company Superb II. Amazing car and not at all an old people's car...and price wise a mid spec car with a 140TDI is not more expensive than a basic Octavia VRS.

Yep...definitely.

Got my first Superb (and first Skoda) last year aged 52. Can't believe I wasted all those years on a meaningless relationship with Toyota.

Now I know what being satisfied with a car means

Waiting for delivery of mine and I am 47.

Hope to get it before I turn 48 at the start of September.

It's definitely not an old persons car, I had to get it approved by my children first!

When did you order it?

Bought my first in 2006 when I was 39. Bought my second last summer and now I'm 45.

Amazing car. (1.8 tsi, twindoor)

35, got my superb 170 4x4 elegance estate, its a car that I can't fault as a day to day runner, I just struggle to be enthusiastic about it :0( strange I know.

Just saw the new 320d m sport estate, overpriced and under spec but dam it looks good in estoril blue with 19"'s, probably rides like ****

41.

previous cars

Subaru legacy- excellent but 25 mpg petrol!

VW passat - boring

Alfa 166 - excellent but god help the electrics!

Volvo S70 - 2.5 ltrs, yahoo!, should have kept it,

Volvo S40 - good but beige

Volvo 460 - 170 k miles, very good car

before this (1997) all my cars were cheap but rubbish

When did you order it?

31st May with a 12-14 weeks estimated delivery.

14 weeks will take it to the day before my birthday

My wife wont be buying me a present, her gift will be to let me play with the car without her complaining :)

I ordered mine (1.8 DSG with e few options) on the 5th of May with a 10 - 13 week lead in time. It'll be interesting to see if theses estimates from our respective dealers are anywhere near accurate. From what I've read in this forum...I reckon they may be rather optimistic. Fingers crossed!

57 when bought first Superb, a twin door 170 Tdi CR DSG

60 when replaced with 3.6 V6 DSG 4x4 Superb Combi

28 - Superb Combi Greenline.

Bought my first Skoda (Octavia 1.4 TSI) when I was 25.

Do also have two Toyota´s, an Aygo (2011) and a Corolla KE20 ´76.

37 this year, had an Audi A4 before, and 2 Octavias before that, plus a Golf.

41 when I ordered the MKII (now 43) and 38 for the MKI

57. Of course, Superb drivers who use a forum like this may on average be younger than the whole population of Superb drivers.

The two drivers of ours will be 47 and 57 when it arrives in a couple of weeks.

32 and wise :giggle:

I'm 38.
