New Skoda Dealership

Featured Replies

Westgate Skoda (along with Honda and Seat) are opening shortly in Grimsby.

They appear to be offering a £50 voucher to those owners who register online with them.

Thought it might be worth a look for those who live nearby.

Might of been an idea if they said what the £50 voucher was actually for,

some 'Accessories to the value of £50 when you buy a car' is not the greatest of incentives IMHO.

'£50 of your next service'

'£50 of a new car' and they would be taking the Michael.

Agreed,if you're in NE Scotland it's probably not much use ,but if you can get £50 off a reasonably priced service and you live down the road.......

Think if you scroll down to the t&c's it explains all.

£50 of parts / service by registering with them :)

Doh, sorry for being stupid,

but.

I was after some Wind Deflectors & i will be needing filter or brake pads, so we will see if they honour they voucher saving me £50 since i will be as happy to pay the P&P like i would need to any place else.

Us tight Scots people might be stupid but we are not silly.

Great service,

Just received my £50 Voucher which can be used to purchase parts for my vehicle.

(the registration number is on the voucher.)

I certainly will use this to get some service parts for my car, from them.

george

Great find just signed up to it

Thanks

There's got to be a catch

If 50,000 Briskoda members registered and got £50 of free parts, without buying a car or a service from them, it's going to cost them £2.5 million with no income

I don't think they'll be trading long

'The voucher can be redeemed against your Skoda S*10 *** on any Skoda service, part or accessory,The voucher may only be used with Westgate SKODA and is valid untill 31st December 2012.

the voucher may not be used in connection with any discounted promotion offers.

(then stuff on not having your info shared by them)

They need to go and change the T&C's.

To say something like

To be used 'At the Dealership in person'

or similar,

or 'Does not Include buying by phone for Mail Order or while 'not at the counter,' parts or accessories'

Sadly for them they did not say that,

so i will call and get the correct Brake Pads or Filters for my vehicle,

I should get the correct parts with them having the Registration Number,

or what ever Accessories i want that are not on 'Another offer' because they are excluded.

I expect them to honour the £50 off what i buy & i will pay the Postage and Packing myself.

Might even have a night in Grimbsy while down that way & the £50 will pay a B&B surely,

or will i be able to buy a 2 Bedroom house for £50??

george

Did you just get an email though or did they post it?

A proper printed voucher recieved in the Royal Mail from Westgate Skoda.

Printed on quality paper with my Registration number & it looks on the front like the Voucher on the Website link.

The reverse of the voucher has all the normal sales Law & consumer rights stuff like you receive on a Vehicle order form

or when buying parts, even distance selling stuff in the T&C..
