Smoked Rear Lights

Featured Replies

Hi All

I was just wondering if anyone on here either vrs or normal, has smoked their rear lights ?

My mate said he saw one on the internet somewhere and it looks really nice but now cant find it...

Anyone help ?

Thanks

Rob

I havent, but I've sene a Fabia I with tinte dlights knocking around Derby. Looked quite smart. Unfortuantly I didn't have time to talk to him. As Im also afte rthis 'mod'.

He is talking rears Had them on mine , looked cool but stopped too much light through 2012-03-19131614.jpg

Dunno if any one has any pics of it on a car but fly eye is pretty good stuff. Very good tint but is still road legal so definitely lets enough light through.

Mine was road legal, passed an mot without even a mention, but go in convoy with an identical car I could see the reflectors a quarter of a mile away

fly eye is really good stuff ive tinted mine with fly eye =)

Why you'd want to reduce the light output of your tail lights is beyond me.

It looked cool in the 80's on Kit from Knightrider but not anymore!

Well all the front end its red and black and the back is mostly red so i thought it might just break the colours up a little bit more.

Can some one photoshop it for me ?

Might be tomorrow when I do that photoshop mate.

It does look alot better.

My tip is using tint-film and not paint, SHOULD be easier...

Just get some black paint ! Totally chavy and unnessecsary the level of light emanating from rears will deminish, therefore making traffic coming up your rear seeing you later, especially on rainy evenings or foggy nights leave them as they are

The film I have ordered is light black, it only puts a slight tint on the lights (see linked posts to Haydens headlights), not a full black out of the light.

I agree a full black out is unnecessary and slightly chavvy, but a subtle tint can finish the car off nicely.
