I have a Octavia II with the petrol 1.4 BCA engine in it. There is an oil leak between the engine and gearbox. Any one come across this or better whats the cure, crank seal or gearbox job. A lot of oil on the under tray. The oil is dripping down between the back plate and the engine/gearbox. Any help would be greatful.

Check the tightness of the gearbox to engine bolts. With luck, it might be that simple. Also check the gearbox oil level if it's been leaking for a while.
