Ive never heard my radiator fan going my temp is never reads to hot or anything but even after long journeys is there anyway of ceing if theres a problem my other fan comes on when air cons on but just never radiator :/

Totally normal.. same for me and I think Softscoop as well... never heard them coming on...

Never heard mine kick in, even after 3.5hr drive down to Cornwall last weekend.

same here and i work on them always struggle to get the fabia vrs fans to come on, working on a octavia vrs today with no air con my colleague went to see if the fan was seized as he got near it, it kicked in... that could have been eventful

had mine 3 years and never heard it kick in! as long as theres coolant in the system its fine. Some of the boys with higher tuned cars may have something to say here though.

never had my fan kick in once after a 8hrs from devon to stratford to coventry and back to devon all in one night. 10 hours of driving, 600 miles and not a noise... not one problem at all. what a great engine/car

Never heard it. Not even in Treacle town traffic.

Mine comes on when pulling into the paddock at a track day. With mpg of between 17mpg-22mpg the extra heat will set them off.

It doesn't matter if you drive 600 miles without stopping it's how much fuel your burning per mile which generates the heat.
