Alloy Wheels need some TLC

Featured Replies

My Alloys are the original ones fitted to my Tdi Elegance. They have 1 or 2 scuffs and the o/s front has a small bit of corrosion starting. I wonder if anyone can recommed a repairer near to Warrington, Cheshire?

Also, the centre caps - are they stick or clip on and where can I get a new set of 4?

Thanx....Chip

The caps just clip in and are available from your local dealer, I paid just over £7 pounds each if memory serves me right.

Thanks for that.

if you are looking at changing the centre caps, why not look at the new ones from the citigo

Thnx yes a lot cheaper!

re The Citigo ones, aren't they the new style badge so they won't match the OEM ones?

yep new style badges, but if you are changing all 4 it is an option

Caps are clip in and are 55 or 56mm. The 58 and 60mm ones don't fit. There was a recent thread about just this topic (2 months?)

Alternative is to obtain stickers and refurb your existing ones.

I think I'll go down the route of replacing them. Just need to find somewhere local who can reefurb the wheels for a reasonable price!
