I'm considering buying the following car:

An Octavia 1.9 TDI SE with a 58 reg with 14,000 miles on the clock. It's through a Skoda dealership and, including an £800 trade-in on my old car I'm looking at £7850 (so £8650). In your expert knowledge of all things Skoda, does that seem like a good deal? I've asked for 12 months MOT on it as well.

I'm bringing it for a test drive tomorrow - anything in particular I should look for?

I've previously driven my mates 08 Octavia - his is an elegence - what are the differences between the two specs? I noticed the lack of a central arm-rest and apparently the SE only has rear parking indicators and ones on the front like the Elegance.

Any help you could give me would be much appreciated.
