18's on a Fabia?....

Featured Replies

Do 18 inch wheels ruin the Fabia Vrs ?

what tyre size would you need to run on 18's on a Fabia?

Would 18 x 8 work ok without fouling, assuming correct offset, not lowered too much etc?

thanks in advance, any thoughts welcome.

215/35/18

But it will look like a rollerskate and handling / comfort will be terrible

Will make the ride crashy. What wheels were you thinking? and whats the offset?

thought as much, nothing specific at this point, would prefer something in a 17 really anyway....

....but was browsing the classifieds on ED38 and got distracted!

lol 17" is the best option for bigger wheels, personally I prefer 16".

Best stick to 16'' if you can. I only run 17'' to clear my 6 pot calipers. Smaller wheels ride and handle better plus tyres are cheaper.

I opted to refurb my standards rather than go up a size

I had the cash to go either way at the time but

I didn't want to sacrifice what little comfort you get with 16's.

The roads round here are poxy. What is it with Bristol and

manhole covers being two bloody inches below the surface

of the road. :@

17" tyres are the cheapest 205/4017 but 18"s look fine.. i ran 18" 8.5 at the front + 18" by 9 at the back lm reps on mine when it was lowered on 35mm eibach springs.. ride was good + tyres only £5 dearer each 215/35 18.. would look better on coilovers but you get the picture (no scrubbing either)

I find 17" tires are cheaper than 16, and 15's cheaper then 14's as 14's and 16's are a rarer size apparently.
