Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook P1610 8.9" tablet/netbook

Featured Replies

Hey folks.

Got the above for sale.

Would make a good VCDS machine as it's pretty small and decent battery life.

It's in pretty good nick.

A few scuffs on the top casing and the odd little mark round the sides but no cracks or major scuffs or dings/dents.

The screen is in very good nick as it's not been used much in tablet mode with the pen.

Battery still seems to hold a good charge and windows estimates around 5-6 hours remaining depending what you're doing.

Comes with charger and touch screen pen.

Specs are:

Intel core solo 1.2GHz

512MB RAM

30GB HDD

Wireless

Bluetooth

Built in 3G (SIM card slot under battery)

8.9" Resistive touch screen

2x USB ports

1x Gigabit LAN

SD card slot

Has a license for XP tablet (no discs for this) but currently running windows 7 (you will need a license for this). I could potentially try and get hold of an XP tablet edition CD and install that but if not if will be left as it is for you to sort out.

£60 inc?

Meet you half way at £70?

Phil

Very much an impulse purchase for a pointless project, so sorry £60 is my max :(

  • Author

Sorry. Just seen this!

I think £70 is my absolute minimum. I have to include posting it in that price (will do special delivery I think due to royal mails rubbish exclusions on the insurance with normal post).

Phil

Does it come with original box?

  • Author

Afraid not. That is long gone.

Just comes with the laptop, charger, battery and stylus pen.

phil

Ah sorry I could've done with the box as well.

Ah sorry I could've done with the box as well.

Sorry I don't mean to sound rude... but... why? It's just a box

Maybe a present for someone. lol.

  • Author

Ah right. No worries. Good luck in finding something suitable.

Meet in the middle at £65?

Hi, just to double check my understanding, it's touch and pen, i.e. you can use your fingers or use the pen?

From what I remember of these, they are not touch, and pen only. You must use the stylus that comes with it, as it contains some electronics to interface with the laptop and display.

Well, did a bit of googling and this model has passive touch according to the spec sheet on the Fujitsu site.

Provided the StickPoint and the touchscreen still works, I'll offer £75 delivered.

  • Author

That's correct.

It's a passive screen so you can use the pen or your finger (or anything else that pushes on the screen actually).

All working fine.
