Quick question, rear wiper motor is on the blink

what is the exact part number for a mk1 hatchback replacement? Can i use an equivalent mk4 golf replacement?

I think MK4 golf/ A3 etc fit. I took mine apart and regreased it, worked fine for a couple of months but it's back to the same again (stuttering and stalling mid-wipe)!

i have a spare one from my vrs i'm breaking.

Don't know if you have to put a 'wanted' add up for me to sell you it?? ;O)

I'll be honest with you buddy I thought about it, then thought again like a tight Yorkshire man I am strip it, give it a very good clean out and re-greased it. Ok a couple of hours max to do the full job from start to finish, if you really strip it. I stripped even the motor off it so I didn't get it wet. It's easy while sat at the dinning table on a Friday night, our lass moaned at me and said next time in the garage........
