I have bought a used Superb about 8 months ago and since then I have these white spots on chrome window decoration (right side trunk window and rear window). The car will be 2 years old within one month. The spots look like drops and foam imprinted beneath a transparent coating. I tried with gentle polish, limescale remover, oil and there was absolutely no change.

Another problem are the roof bars with inverse pattern. They are turning mate with still shining drops.

Anyone has a suggestion what to do? I have asked my service dealer and they said it is environmental and they can't do anything about it. By the way, the replaced the Skoda logos, that were coroding.

Yep thats fallout from something so not down to the dealer
