Aircon Compressor - Cheapest Replacement Part

Featured Replies

My aircon compressor has broken, I need a replacement.

After a £900 turbo bill recently I really don't want to be spending £700 on a new one, inc fitting etc. so where could I find a replacement working unit for the lowest price?

- euro car parts?

- ebay? (some silly cheap ones and then a few around the £400 mark)

- somewhere else?

Thanks

Still £340 for a new one is a lot of money. What are people's thoughts on remanufactured ones? The fitting is too expensive to risk a very cheap second hand one

My garage can supply a new one for £362
