Changed over my door handles today, well the auto spark did, we had my door open and the bot and we had the drivers rear open and the others were shut, we shut the rear door and then couldnt open it, then we couldnt open any of the 3, so only the boot and the front drivers door will open!

Now im guessin there deadlocked, so how the hell do i open the others? Please help!

Can vag com sort this?

Posted a thread yesterday about my door problem, basicaly 3 wont open!

Drivers door and tailgate work fine! The other 3 doors, the locks fire as normal but dont open from inside or out, i had vag com on the car today and it shows no electronic fault!

Now ichanged the exterior dorhandles over yesterday and this happened but it mist be a mechanical fault so the doors arent deadlocked but they wont open!

I need ideas on how to fix this!

At a guess something hasn't reconnected properly? Either solenoid elec connector in drivers door so the locks don't unlock in other doors. Or something mechanical in the other doors

Are all the doors interconnected?

No fault codes stored, And all the locks fire!

My guess is that you haven't got the cables located in the outer handles at the correct tension, too loose or too slack and you have opening problems.

All the doors worked individually before we moved on to the rear drivers side it was when we changed thatdoor handle and shut the was when the other doors stopped working!

Ive stripped that door down and 2moro im going to try and jimmy the drivers rear open somehow!

Any ideas of how to do that would be appreciated!

Updates, te door carrier is now completely off, and i can c the lock mech inside, has anybody any ideas what i do now? Ive had a play about and nothing seems to work!

Really clutching at straws for you as I've never had the door apart yet but it's coming soon as after 5 years the rear drivers is starting to leak!

I noticed the following section in the manual a few weeks ago when I was going through it for something else. Just possible you disturbed something on the child locks and need to try both handles at the same time as stated? Suppose it will only take a minute to try.

After closing the door, you can no longer open it from outside. If the child safety

lock is not switched on, it is possible to open the door from the inside by pulling

twice on the door handle. If the child safety lock is switched on, it is necesary to also

open the door from outside besides pulling twice on the inner door handle.
