Fabia TSI

Featured Replies

Hello - having had problem with my Feb 2011 Fabia TSI - away for 5 weeks getting new valves in 2 cylinders. Should there be a cover on the wiring on the engine. It doesn't have one now - but did it ever?

No, the TSI's don't have engine covers. Not heard of any needing valves replaced! Hope it's all back to normal now. :)

Welcome to the forum.

Give us a wee clue on your area of Scotland and see if we/me can guess which Dealership.

Best go down a Skoda dealership and ask them to pop the bonnet on an identical car & compare them.

Hope the car is fine now.

Was this on a new car that you bought,

or a pre-owned/demonstrator one?

Were you happy that new valves on 2 cylinders was a satisfactory repair?

I think i would have been wanting new valves on all cylinders or a new head and all new parts on a 14 month old car!

Was this what the Skoda garaged put to Skoda for warranty payment on?

I know that i would have wanted and been taking advice on the problem, but as long as you are OK now and watch closely for the rest of the warranty and the car behaves now your probably fine..
