The car is probably now called a Shcoda Octarvia Ambi-auntie pre-facelift '08 reg - pulled the panel off wondering if there might be scope to put a USB supply thingy up there for a drive cam ... and found this unit - it looks like it has 3 microphones or other sensors one for each of the grids on the underside of panel.

Car doesn't have a phone carrier, bluetooth, etc - just a standard stream radio and no-maxidot.

also does anyone know if there's a cheap easy way to get a CAN-bus unit to provide ignition switched power in the boot / other places.
