I am new to here, but I read a lot of posts. I need some extra help this time. I want to refine the engine performance so I need to understand it more! This is the diagram for the fuel system. I could not make a perfect sense of it and I am a mechanical engineer! .. lol ... I don't understand what part 10, 4, and 14 do.

What do you mean by refine the performance?

Custom intake and exhaust systems and I might go to turbo charging after a while. I know that it has 10:1 compression ratio but I can work around that.

they are to draw off petrol fumes from the tank (lots of those in Doha) into the charcoal canister which under prescribed conditions (vac) then vent into the inlet manifold- pro'bly during cruising

Yet, I don't understand the double crank case breathers. I am saying breathers because they are not PCVs! Anyway, the large pipe goes into the intake directly and the small one goes into butter fly valve with the one coming from the fuel tank. It is just weird :think:
