Wobbly steering wheel doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. Could have been as simple as a misshaped tyre, or unbalanced wheel.

A car turning out to be Cat C is bad luck, and could have been avoided with a HPI check.

He has all that checked and it came back fine, even the dealer couldnt find the cause of it, if i mind correctly they said they were going to fully strip it to check if it had been bashed and something had bent

He done some form of check not sure which though and it came up as "stolen and recovered" but he only found out it was a cat c when he was looking to trade it in

My brothers mrs has a Astra with vxr bits on it. . . . Because she had a accident & the parts were cheaper lol. You got the nail on the head I think.

Nope, I've just found the article and it's a 1.4 16v.

Here is the translated version from Greek. http://translate.goo...a-rs.html#links

No, that's the very first prototype SE that came out 2 years before and was painted in the special Race Yellow, not the ordinary Yellow! :p

Heated leather is honestly one of the best things in the world ever, bar .... well, so many other things really, but it's pretty good  .

Ofcourse, how could anyone forget about that legendary thing, surprised it's going so cheap  .

If it really was a 2005 car as the advert and the statement "two years before" state why does it have pre-facelift rear lights. Surely that puts it as a September 2004 model. Looks more like just a high-milage tweaked ordinary pre-facelift vRS with aftermarket leather seats to me...

i know this is an old thread but the silver 1.4 ha a terrible paint match (and panel allignment) on the passenger's rear door.

Also, i can't see the boot liner?!

It is a paint match, seen it with my own eyes as my mate bought it, just the light or shadow or whatever!

fair enough. I see two completely different colours of red on my girlfriend's FR under sodium lights - the metal panels are a mile off of the plastic bumpers but in natural light they're fine
