For the last couple of weeks, my car has been in a very dusty enviroment, and although it drives perfectly, the turbo spooling and the DV have gone a lot quieter.

I think the CAI may have quite a bit of dust in. Its a Dynatwist. Does anybody know what to use to clean it? Shall I just remove it and wipe the inside out with a cloth?

I'd be tempted to wash it, get a bucket and give it a good soaking.

Using washing up liquid will remove all the grease and oil from it.

Then leave it in the airing cupboard over night to dry it out.

You can then use a K&N or similar oil to re-oil the filter, but only do this very lightly!

Green do a specific a cleaning kit.

U cant use the KnN oil cos its RED in color whilst GREEN as the name says uses GREEN dye /oil.......
