I've read several posts about a new badge which is to appear on the Skoda.

is this true? Or is it just an accessory you can buy to fit to the car yourself?

My Skoda Yeti is now on order (pacific blue, SE) and Ive been told its delivery will be in Sept/Oct.

Does that seem realistic for a delivery date?

And - will it have the new badge?

If so - how is it different from the old?

Although I definitely will not be replacing the badge (and probably scratching the paintwork doing it) I am wondering what in the opinion of the members who read this, are the best 'extras' to go for? Either from Skoda or 3rd parties.

With regards new badges the no, your Yeti is unlikely to have a new badge. They only seem to change then with a new car/possibly facelift, so the only car with them at the moment is the Citigo, followed shortly by the new Rapide. Maybe the facelift models will get new badges.

Doesn't Skoda like being "green"? Seems to be swimming against the eco-tide. I presume the new badge is a response to the badge worm problem.
