I broke my windscreen wiper linkage :(

so, what a dope - i lifted the bonnet while my windscreen wipers were lifted, and CRACK, SNAP and POP! off my passenger side windscreen wiper came...... with the thread still inside from the linkage underneath ....... I now need to get a couple of linkage..... but skoda chesterfield have quoted £265.34!!!!!! just for the parts what the f***!!! so - anyone know of a good scrapyard in Derbyshire or South Yorkshire that might be able to help - or anywhere else that would be good????

Please - I am desperado as MOT is due next month and I just cant afford £300 quid.

South Yorkshire go to motorhog just out side of donny should only be a couple of quid there .... They do quotes online if your after a price

"Pennies" to £50 on eBay. I would assume they're all the same but might be best to get a part number off your existing one.

D'oh! Still, useful information has been laid down in the thread of blind boffins.... B)

Worse than that, I think that we lost that member, shame he could not be bothered waiting 2.5 years - some people give up easily!

Surely there's a test... have to be able to splel deisil prop'ly innit... :)
