Maxido Display & Multi-Function Steering Wheel

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've just bought an Octavia SE+ which has a multifunction steering wheel.

The car has controls for the maxidot display on the windscreen wiper lever as well as on the steering wheel. However the controls on the lever (rocker switch A and push button B - page 18 of the driver's manual)do not function and the display can only be controlled by using the buttons on the steering wheel.

Does anyone know if this is normal or if shuld it be possible to operate the display using controls on either the steering wheel or windscreen wiper lever?

Regards

This is quite normal. I had a MFSW fitted to my manual vRS. Once it had been properly installed and coded, all control of the Maxidot was through the steering wheel controls, the stalk ones no longer work.
