I have recently bought fabia vrs and contemplating front mounted intercooler and some sort of bov. Im sure iv heard before of a resert valve? Wondered if this is true, aparently works like, recycling the air, an rather than the typical hiss of dump valve its more of a pigeon noise?! Also, what would be the best (and size) for intercooler, help would be much appreciated

As said a hundred times before. A dump or blow off valve on a VNT diesel is pointless and will usually result in less power

Theres no vaccum so a dv or bov would open as soon as the boot built up resulting in no boost, there chavvy aswel lol

A recirc valve dumps unwanted pressure into the unpressurised part of the system, i.e. the intake, where as BOV will dump straight to the atmosphere.

The owl type noise comes from cutting out the cat and or muffler.

Best IC is totally dependant on budget.

What's the best IC for £200 is a totally different question to what's the best IC for £600
