Where is the external CD changer for the Dance radio hidden away?

Featured Replies

The Dance in my father's Roomster says "No CD" when I press CD again from the internal cd, and then it shows 6 disk places that are empty. That should mean that there's a CD changer somewhere hidden in that thing, right? But where is it? I have looked in the usual VAG places. It's not under the driver's seat or passenger's seat, and it's obviously not underneath the armrest. So if there is one, where should it be hidden? Thanks in advance!

Unless the head unit is coded incorrectly.

Mine does the same, but the 6 disc changer was an option so you'll only find it if its fitted

I see, thanks! Do you know where it would be in the car if it was fitted? My father has no idea, he bought the car slightly used and didn't even know that it had a cruise control until I told him... ;)

It could be in the Boot, left hand side behind a cover. near the light cluster

Thank you, mr. Goldfinger! And if you expect me to die, you have to wait a long time...

Btw I see you have a DSG in your Octavia. I have that in my Touran (without the paddles, though, the manual shift is on the stick), and I am prepared to start a political party that has as it's only cause to mandate DSG trannies in every car in the country! ;)
