Paint Touch Up Stick......How good are they?

Featured Replies

I have 3 very tiny stone chips on the bonnet, thinking about getting one of the Paint touch up stick, but don't know how good they are. Has anybody else used them and how good are they? Thanks in advance.

Well it's just paint,

how good they are all comes down to the person applying it.

Agree. The OEM paints are great to apply and also comes with clear laquer if it's a metallic.

The best way to apply the paint I found is to drop it in with a Coocktail stick

Where do people recommend for buying touch up? Or is it always main dealer?

Hi, for small chips just lightly dap on and try not to overload. Sourcing to a certain extent will depend on the colour type, some of which can be obtained from outlets like Halfords etc. Otherwise you may have to revert to a local dealer and also check if a laquer coat is required.

Dealers are cheaper than Halfords for the touch up paint

Dealers as the paint is great.
