Hi All,

Does anyobody have a link to a wiring diagram for the Head Unit Loom? I tried to installed a PURE Highway 300Di today and couldn't get it to work with my Chinese HU :( Tried putting the original factory fitted HU in but the wiring has confused me a little. I'm trying to find the switch live but when I connect a multimeter I am getting three wires providing 12v which has confused me. If I could see the labels for the wires I would be fine so if anyone has a diagram that would be great. Thanks.

You need to be a bit careful here, there is no official switched live to the HU iirc, it's all controlled through the CANBUS/gateway. Your safest option would be to run a lead directly to a switched live in the fuse box.

There are pin diagrams on 'My GTI' website. But no 12v supply to the back of the head unit.
