Is there a way to change the remote key unlock facility without going to the dealer or having VCD?

I currently have to press remote twice to unlock all doors and the boot and at times I forget and upset Swmbo when she breaks a nail on the handle, my youngest son actually asked if he wasn't wanted in the car? (Mega guilt trip just because I forgot) :blush: Kids eh?

It can be done with VCDS, I'm sure I read how to do it somewhere! If you search the forum for it I'm sure it'd turn up :)

Look in the VCDS members thread and look for someone local to you.

I'm sure they will oblige to help you out. It's very quick to do.

They may also change other settings while they're at it if you like.

Thanks for the kind offer but sadly I am no where near Shropshire. Kilmarnock is the closest big town you might have heard of! :giggle:
