???

Its what you computer estimates its range to be ............based on the amount of fuel in the tank and your present MPG

I know, but you can have different things on display...just wondering what everyone else has showing on theirs ie MP3/CD track or...

Not really sure what you're asking but I have mine set to engine temp to start with so I know when I can hoof it and then average mpg for the journey after that.

Exactly. I've got mine set to miles left in the tank (whether inaccurate or not) just wondering if we all watch the numbers go down or if you have other things on display, like oil temp for instance. Besides, doesn't your temperature gauge indicate you can hoof it ? Mine takes soo long to warm up it's not true.

I get it now..LOL

Sorry

Mine is set to Average MPG mostly

I tend to have mine showing variable mpg, I do get addicted to checking it, but not really trying to drive conservatively don't have maxidot so no mp3s for me

Nav instructions most of the time, or average mpg

Real time speed value is what mine is normally at.

leave mine on Oil temp, until the car is warmed up enough ;-)

As far as I know it reverts to MFD when I start it. I can't be arsed getting MP3 details up generally, so only use that when I'm in the mood for track hopping.

When on MFD it's usually on trip average MPG, unless I'm in the mood for more 'spirited' driving in which case it spoils the fun somewhat to see how quickly I'm burning the go-go juice.......

Mine is just a constant cycle of orange warnings most of the time. Which is really annoying when you just want to know the time.

Mines MPG 1 and I don't have Maxidot.

Average mpg, I'm prudent with my spending

Average MPG mostly - I do my best to keep it as low as possible - need to know I'm getting as much benefit as I can from my fuel card..

MPG because i can't believe a 200bhp car can be so good i've seen 38.2 this week goin to work early in morn taking it very steady mind you its down hill from home then two dual carriageways goin home sees it drop to about 27 still good average though, reading on here what other members do i really need to play with the maxidot a bit more never knew you could have oil temp etc

Seems I'm the only one that leaves it on 'Speed Warning' most of the time then - as I get obsessed/depressed about MPG/range figures otherwise ;)

I don't have a specific speed warning set either; then just cycle through the readouts on Maxidot at various stages of the journey to see how things are going :)

I also sometimes turn the display off altogether, or have music/radio info displayed - just depends what mood I'm in.

Didn't know you could turn it off...?

Average MPG all the way...

Didn't know you could turn it off...?

Might not be an option on the FL Paul, not sure...

One of these normally!

Average MPG generally, though I don't really care about it too much, it's just more interesting than the other things I can have.

I have a Pre-FL non maxidot, so not much to look at really.

Think my long term average is about 46 or 47mpg, which I'm pleased with.

Audio for me. Pre-FL so none of these other exciting options... :(

Usually distance to empty.

Average mpg for me.
