Open? You really need to change hosts then... Want some help choosing one?

open to people here not the world...

Nice one ffellan, really impressive pics. How have you overcome the brake fad probs?

On my standard car they are good for everyday driving but if I boot it and hammer the brakes they fade big style. Just interested, TaviaRS recommended Dot4 super and upgraded pads.

cut big chunks of bumper/ wheel arch liner out to improve airflow to cone/ intercooler/brakes... works a treat...

Paul,

have you drilled out the bottom grill on the RHS (air box side)?

I'm think ing of doing this to increase airflow to airbox. Alos thinking about putting an air vent on this side like the one for the intercooler.

Can only help can't it?

removed both side grilles cut out centre one...

Adrian - don't know about yours but mine sucks air in through two slots in the slam panel under the front edge of the bonnet. No air comes into the airbox from anywhere in the wheel arch.

So Paul - how did the Octy match up against the rest of the field - in the pic with the Caterham you are obviously passing it as if standing still - what else was there there to play with?

umm we the field was

911 x 2

scoob x 2 1 prodrive wr , 1 wrx sti ppp

elise

formula ford

clio williams

pug 206 gti

carlton 3000gsi

caterhams x4

escorts

i was fastest apart from the 911 but did manage to pass one of them later in the day....

btw RS does suck air from inner wing

Has your remap been done now then?

i will be back on track very soon, with a "none blown" turbo. (wastegate side of the turbo has failed)

Having 10,9,8,7 psi is very infuriating when your used to a constant 18 psi :(

I also think i'm in need of a new set of tyres (assume most people have seen the pictures)
