I fitted a set of Jom coilovers to my fabia vrs yesterday and into early hours this morning and when test driving it afterwards there was a loud grinding noise from the front. I changed the top mount and top mount bearing, was I supposed to change anything else or use anything from the standard suspension. Do I need shorter drop links?

I have it on the lowest setting at the moment, could this be why I am getting the noise.

Was around midnight last night by the time I finished can anyone think of what I have done wrong?

Yeah I think you need shorter drop links for Joms... People using mondeo ones amongst others

thats why i got the FK set as they come with the drop links, couldnt be arsed to find which ones i need and balls about with finding some.

venom motorsport ...thats where i got my jom kit from for my Superb but i did not need shorter links

but they can get you a set for yours

Cost me £16 from euro car parts

Had it all fitted last night
