All this after my remap on wednesday!

Looks like the manifold runner motor may have gone, you could ring superchips and try and claim under their 'we fix any damage the remap causes' promise but its hard to prove.

This is the breakdown of the faults. You have a misfire on Cylinder 3 - Change the coilpack and clear the fault codes. Then see if it comes back on. I had to change the manifold motor runner on mine. You may have to as well, but you certainly need to change the coilpack on cylinder 3 as that will bring on the eml light.

Did you get them changed as per recall?

You kidding me! Didnt know there was a recall lol!

Got 1 from GSF and dropped it in myself, £30 & job done.

If any others go can i get them done on a recall then?

yep should be done under a recall, keep your reciept you could claim the money back.

No you won't be able to claim your money back, Skoda will have to do the whole job.

Plus if you now happen to have a non genuine coil pack in there that won't be changed under warranty/recall.

There are advantages to taking your car to a dealer once in a while, we check for services actions at every visit.

I had my cambelt & water pump done last month @ central skoda & they never mentioned anything to me that my car should have the coil packs done?

Its due a service in the next 1000 miles so will ask them when its in to have them changed.

The recall isn't applicable to all cars, however they should check the system to see if it's due any recalls, it's part of service core process.

Im sure when i checked VOSA website, mine wasnt down as a recall.

However wont hurt to ask the question i suppose.

Some are some aren't, but I'm not sure what exactly the criteria are.

I've seen cars that were flagged for injector replacement on the system, but are not in the range specified on the VOSA site.

Give your dealer a call.

Or I can check Monday for you.

That would be great if you could.

Is this a coincidence or will this be the remap not being suitable for my car?
