ghost in the machine

Featured Replies

Left car several times and on return both front windows were down exactly the same amount 2-4inches.

The car is a 61regd skoda fabia 1.2tsi dsg elegance in white. I suspected it could be connected to the key fob but there is no facilaty to open windows on it. Anyway rang Simpsons in Preston and they said they had experienced this on several cars. Apparently the signal parameters need adjustment in the keyfob. I have tried to replicate this with the keyfob and if you keep your finger on it to long on the second press to open the passenger door the windows do indeed come down. How strange, but good to know skoda can apparently cure it.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hello brownfox and welcome along

That's not a fault it's a feature but can be coded out if you find someone with VCDS
