Fabia VRS '04 Symphony radio/cd player

Featured Replies

I've had my car 4 yrs and the radio was fine. Then it started increasing and decreasing volume on its own, which was cured by an audio repair guy. It then started to turn itself on when the car was left locked, whether the knob was in or out. The audio guy has tried to fix it but it's still doing it and I have been advised I need a new unit (at £250-ish). Any tips gratefully received, or does anyone have an old one knocking about under the stairs that they would like a new home for?!! I have removed the thing as I do not want any battery probs.

I have one which is being unused at the moment.

Was planning on keeping it for when I come to sell the car but would probably be better being put to use.

Let me know if you don't manage to source one!

I'd purchase an Alpine to replace it personally.

Will be alot less than £250, or you could get a fantastic unit for £250 if you wanted to spend that.

2 Second search found that for less than £150. Green illumination to match the dash and Bluetooth for safe phone calls :)
