Still no build date on mine lead time is now from order 20 weeks for build then shipping

Initial quotes at launch was 8-12 weeks but due to demand its looking like 20

That's a long time, you have my sympathies. I went for an ex-demo, i hate waiting. Hope you get some positive news soon.

I have now received a production week - week 41 (October 8-14). My dealer thinks it cound be ready for me about 14 days late - my original delivery date was October 4th.

That's probably a little optimistic of him but I should probably have it end of October. I ordered June 19th. My specs below.

No build date as yet. Worst case is now November delivery!

As Malcster said above, I may start to look at something else.

Mind you they did say they are willing to give me a loan car from 28th Sept till delivery of the Citigo.

I ordered my original Citigo Elegance in white in July, even up the last few days, my order was not expected until December or even January! I was a bit fed up, so I have now brought a Citigo from the stock list, but crazily there was only 8 cars on it for the whole uk! It was I believe a cancelled order. I am now getting the elegance in black, and will take a out 2 weeks to get to me. Can't wait!

Here in Denmark I ordered my Citigo 16 sep. 2012 and the delivery date is november/december 2012.

Maybe the fact that they are not building Elegance models and some Ambition models (SE models in the UK) from week 45 to 48, gives them a chance to built even more Active models (S models in the UK). It sure is a fast delivery time compared to many other's that we have heard of.

They may said they might be able to offer me a loan car from 18 October if they don't I have semi decided to walk away from the whole thing

Deposit i reckon is no problem on the basis the build date is not confirmed so no one is at a loss just need to calculate any interest they owe me and try and claim that as well

I too was offered a loan car till mine arrived, but then it was withdrawn.

Memo to Skoda: Don't promise what you can't deliver! Ah well...

So I had to tax/MOT/insure my current car again.

I almost walked away too. But decided to stay with it.

Latest update: build week 45.

But who knows for certain?

I ordered a car from stock 3 weeks ago. At the time the car was at Emden docks. Three weeks later its still there.....

Don't hold your breath....

That said, the dealers have been excellent in keeping me up to date. Unfortunately it is out of their hands.

we ordered a white elegance, with sunroof and was told xmas...............

not holding my breath but we have another car anyway so not really bothered but Skoda should in my view e able to confirma build date once an oder has been recieved.

Had a call from SUK today to confirm build week is 43 - so that's 6 weeks from order to build, then anything from 2 - 6 weeks for delivery. Depending on boats.

Our Yeti has been sat at Emden twiddling its thumbs for 10 days
