Any way to make the stereo play longer?

Featured Replies

Hey and sorry for the bad title!

I wonder if there is any way to make the Swing unit not turning off after a certain amount off time while on but without the car being on!

...yeah good idea as its not too handy you are at the drive in and it goes off during the movie

I had mine being the DJ atthe Cumbrian camping do... and we drunkenly tried every single combination of buttons, settings, and menus to try and get it to stop turning itself off! no luck .

let me know if you find out how! lol..

Wonder if you can change that with VCDS... Gonna find that out later ;).

The main reason it turns itself off is to prevent the battery going flat.so don't think I'd want to mess about with it

Got a "smart" charger for when I'm on a show... So no worries there ;).

I wouldn't worry about the battery if its in good condition... I ran mine all night every night without issues...

maths: if you have a 100Ah battery for example it will run 1 amp for 100 hours and a standard set up takes less than 1 amp.... a big audio amp set up will obviously eat tons more...

And I've even run a car stereo with amps and speakers for many hours without problems before and that was on a tired little felicia battery! lol

Might be able to change it through VCDS.
