On your way back from Skye, on the A87, the road climbs ,and there's a tourist layby over looking some lochs.( It'll be on your right ,as you descend )

This is an amateur shot of the view -it's either Loch Loyne or Loch Clunie

I did wonder what equipment you were using, superb shots.

North Uist what a fantastic place, long time since I was up there but I'll bet it's basically the same.

Here are some shots all taken within about 20 minutes of each other. They involved rushing around, grabbing the camera and slapping on the 300mm, and getting soaking wet. But I think they were worth it.
