Ive been pondering the new golf gti and I like it a lot. However I went thru the online order system earlier, as you can spec and price the options - absolutley feck all comes as standard. Compared to the skoda the gti is spartan - no leather, 6 disk changer, metalic paint or anything - even 5 doors costs more.

By the time I had gone thru the list and rather conservativley tried to match the vrs spec, plus the 18" I was over the 20k basioc price by a further 2k!!

Gonna hang on and wait for 2nd hand now I think.

The Golf, and all their cars pretty much, are too expensive for what they are.
