Reducing photo size

Featured Replies

I'm trying to upload a photo of my new car but it is 2.75 mb. How do I reduce to under 2mb.

Grateful for any help!

This is also quite good, www.shrinkpictures.com.

Thanks for your help. I have a 2003 version of Paint and the features you mentioned are not all there. Shrink pictures worked OK. I now find I can use Picassa 3 which has a reducing section.

The thing that is bugging is that I upload the reduced pics which load as a thumbnail. Fine! Now I would expect that I would click on an area of the page and the full sized pic would appear. Not so. I tried preview, nothing.

Now I may be over 50 and probably a bit stupid but this seems to have more in's and out's than a ducks rearend.

How the ???? can I get my pics on a page without a BA in Computer Science?

I also would like to know how you get the text and pics on the bottom of a page, or are we know in the realms (for me) of a Professorship.

Any help would be gratefully received as I am getting near losing the will to live!

Couldnt find any thing realistic in the help files!!!
