Featured Replies

Yo guys just wondering... Does Enyone elses Fabia just whistle a high pitched constant whistle once it's up to temp?? I've checked everything power is good boost pipes are good etc. my mates also did exactly the same put the 2 together was like a small whistle orchestra... Any who just wondering if anyone elses does this?? My finding has got me to somware around the flexi pipe onthe exhaust I messed with it got it to stop holding it in a different position. Me thinks it's time for a turbo back exhaust :)

On idle you mean? It's egr valve or sommit. Starts after a few seconds idling

Yeah just on tick over. I've had a look all over the shop for the noise and I found it stopped when I moved the exhaust how is this caused you say the Egr??? What would stop it I've recently removed my Egr and cleaned it up still does it lol but like I say I have heard it on other Fabia vrs's :)

Its pretty normal nothing to worry about.

Mine makes all sorts of whistles and whooshes. drives and goes well so ive always assumed its fine

Mines does it too, if it aint broke don't fix it!

it shouldnt auto lock, if you have driven somewhere and got out of the car and leaving occupants in the car. The usual causes of things like this is a faulty microswitch in one of the doors, so the car thinks no door has been opened and locks after 60 seconds.

Check the interior light goes on and off with both front doors.
